This is an ORIGINAL ANIMATION CEL from the now classic OLD WOUNDS episode of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. This is a gorgeous shot of ROBIN. It is THE pivotal moment where he throws down his mask and cape, signaling the transition for him to become NIGHTWING. This piece comes with its gold embossed WB logo and certificate of authenticity. It also comes with its official scene-matching background provided by Clampett Studio Collections (the home of the WB Art program).
These are one of a kind pieces of ORIGINAL ART, and cels are no longer used in animation production. It is a dying art (if not dead already). Many of you know it is difficult to get these now-vintage pieces, and especially difficult to get them SIGNED by voice talent or producers of the show (like Bruce Timm). LOREN LESTER is a versatile actor best known for his iconic voice work in animated series and films. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Dick Grayson, also known as Robin and Nightwing, in the critically acclaimed "Batman: The Animated Series" alongside Kevin Conroy's Batman. Lester's portrayal of Robin and Nightwing added depth and character development to the beloved DC Comics character.
